Abstract
Terrain aided navigation(TAN) has been received substantial attention for decades to support the existing inertial navigation system(INS) with terrain information. TAN robustly determines the position of autonomous vehicles under external interferences such as GPS jamming. In this paper, extended Kalman filter, unscented Kalman filter, and particle filter, are used to simulate TAN for an autonomous air vehicle and compared to each other.
